Life previous to CHB**: Ben lived in California with his mom and brother until he was 7. He ran away because his mom hit him, blaming him for his father running away from her. Thorn tried to help but he was a freak to Florenzia and she hit him too. Thorn helped him run away and they split after a cyclops attacked. Ben made it to camp Halfblood and is staying there.
